Full & Partial Dentures

Having a healthy, beautiful smile begins here!

It is important to be able to choose a natural-looking and well-performing denture when you lack most or all of your natural teeth.

It’s hard to imagine how losing a tooth as an adult can affect your life in ways you don’t even realize. In addition to compromising the structure of your mouth, missing teeth make you look older, which undermines your self-confidence. Eating and chewing are also made difficult when you have gaps in your smile. A full or partial denture can improve your smile’s functionality and appearance as it replaces missing teeth. Dr. Verma can help if you’re missing one or two teeth and are interested in partial dentures, or if you’re missing most of your teeth and are considering full dentures. Our customized dentures look natural, so no one will be able to tell you are wearing false teeth. We are more than happy to help you with your denture options. Contact us today!

What are the benefits of having dentures?

Pro Dental Concepts offers a wide range of functional and aesthetic benefits with its dentures. When teeth are lost, the bone beneath can begin to atrophy, leaving the patient with a ‘sunken face.’ Dentures fill the space and prevent this by supporting the bone and tissue.  Dentures that fit well also assist with speech and eating. With modern dentures, your lips and gums are once again supported, and you can chew all of your favorite foods.  Lastly, missing teeth can have a negative effect on a person’s self-esteem.  Many patients feel embarrassed when they smile. Dentures will restore the natural appearance of your smile, and you will enjoy smiling again when they fill the spaces of missing teeth.

We offer three types of dentures to choose from.

  • Partial Dentures: Dentures that replace several teeth at the same time are known as partial dentures. By conforming to your existing teeth, the arch-shaped base prevents unnecessary dental extractions. The shape of partials is more streamlined since they do not cover the entire roof of your mouth. Teeth can sometimes be added to them later, if you lose a tooth in the future.
  • Full Dentures : Dentures that replace your entire upper or lower jaw in one appliance are known as full dentures. Your gum tissues are directly in contact with it, and this creates a suction that keeps it firmly in place. You will need to extract the teeth in that arch first if you have any existing teeth there.
  • Implant Supported: Implants can be placed strategically in your jaw to provide a stable foundation for your dentures. Typically, a full-arch denture needs only 4-6 implants.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may experience slight variations in the process depending on your particular situation; however, a typical dentures procedure begins with taking precise measurements and creating molds of your mouth and gums. When designing your dentures, Dr. Verma takes the shape of your face, your gum line, and your jawline into account. The doctor will take great care to make sure your denture fits perfectly and will give you advice on how to care for it.

Denture adhesive cream usage guidelines were developed by the Oral Health Foundation to assist dental health care professionals and patients. Here are those guidelines:

  • In full-denture wearers, patient satisfaction has become a crucial factor for the success of treatment.
  • A well-fitting complete denture can be retained better and food accumulation reduced with denture adhesives.
  • Enhancing comfort, providing psychological satisfaction, boosting confidence and thus improving wellbeing, while enhancing retention, stabilizing, and improving function are all possible advantages.
  • Adhesive products cannot compensate for significant denture deficiencies.
  • Dentists should instruct and guide patients regarding the proper application, use, and removal of adhesive, as well as how to properly clean dentures.
  • It varies from patient to patient when to advise a patient to use an adhesive.
